Dr. Muffit JensenDr. Muffit Jensen is an excellent chiropractor, teacher and researcher. She is highly regarded for not only eliminating pain, but actually discovering the cause of the problem offering long term solutions. She stays abreast of the latest literature and trends which are a reflection of her accomplishments and career success.

Muffit L. Jensen BS, DC, CKTP graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College Los Angeles Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian in April of 1990. She is a published author in the book; Low Back Syndromes where she wrote chapter 23 on Soft Tissue and Mobilization techniques. She has also co-authored many published articles, the latest being a shoulder systematic review published in JMPT July 2011.

Dr. Jensen has a small private practice in Sun Valley, California, and also divided her time to work at her alma mater; Cleveland Chiropractic College. She was Clinical faculty in the Health Center for 15 years and taught many chiropractic and diagnostic classes. Because of her expertise, Dr. Jensen was asked by the former Dean of Cleveland Chiropractic College to create and weave the old Chiropractic curriculum into an integrated functional model that unites joint dysfunction with functional pathology of the motor system. She continues to be a sought after and well loved professor, mentor and student advocate.

Although well versed in many chiropractic techniques and philosophies, Dr. Jensen specializes in Chiropractic Functional assessment. She is an expert in identifying and treating movement impairment syndromes where she incorporates adjustments, stretching, soft tissue mobilization techniques as well as functional exercise and nutritional protocols. Although well versed in musculoskeletal diagnosis, Dr. Jensen is an excellent diagnostician of non-musculoskeletal conditions. Her clinical expertise stems from her love of and quest to continue learning. She has studied under some of the best in the field of manual medicine such as the late Vladimir Janda, Pavel Kolar, Craig Liebenson, and Stuart McGill.
